What is the dress code for the wedding and other weekend events?
First and foremost, we want you to be comfortable and feel fabulous! The wedding ceremony and reception are cocktail attire. Other than that, feel free to keep things casual. Most people will likely dress up a little for the Shabbat dinner, but you don’t have to. The ceremony will be outside, so please plan for uneven terrain and variable weather.
When should I plan to depart?
Checkout at Cedar Lakes is at 11am on Sunday.
FAQ
When should I plan to arrive?
Check in at Cedar Lakes begins at 4pm on Friday. Dinner will begin at 6pm. If you are in Port Jervis before 4pm, feel free to stop by our Airbnb home at 196 Langlitz Road in Westtown, NY (about 12 minutes from the venue). We can hang out until check in time!
What accommodations are available for people with mobility concerns?
There are golf carts on hand for anybody who needs help navigating the 500 acre property. Some of the beds in the cabins are lofted and require climbing up steps. Please let us know if you need accessible lodging.
I’m a vegetarian / vegan / gluten free / allergic to ____. Will there be food for me?
Yes! Please let us know about any dietary restrictions in advance so we can be sure to accommodate you.
Can I bring a guest?
As much as we would love the extra friends, we request that only invited guests attend.
I’m traveling with young children. Will there be babysitting services available?
Yes! Children are welcome to attend all events, and there will be plenty of child-friendly activities throughout the weekend. If you would like to party without the kids, we can help you make babysitting arrangements for Saturday night.
Will I/we have my/our own room?
In all honesty, probably not. The majority of accommodations at Cedar Lakes are cabins with large open rooms. We will do our best to house families and friends together, but you should not stay on site unless you are comfortable sharing space.
